I don’t use TextMate as much as I used to given that most of my ActionScript-based work is done in FDT these days, but I’m glad I spotted a link on DaringFireball pointing to an excellent post by Alex Payne on how to maximize TextMate. The “Ack in Project” tip is invaluable -- I had taken to deleting references to certain folders in my project files just to speed up project-level searches, and this thankfully renders that workaround unnecessary.
I had seen ProjectPlus mentioned on the Macromates blog a while back, but hadn’t gotten around to installing it. I’m glad I did -- although to enable QuickLook in the project drawer I ended up installing the QuickLook in TextMate plugin. The ProjectPlus feature list seemed to imply that this was included, but it didn’t seem to be the case.
